self evalution revised

My interest deeply rooted in Japanese culture began in my junior high school. Since then, I have read much articles, listened to some music and saw much movie. Apart from learn the things from textbook, sometimes I read magazines. Moreover, I will make good use of every chance to talk with Japanese to improve my speaking ability and to understand Japanese better.
Although I am deeply interested in Japanese, I studied English as my major in senior high school years. The original reason to learn English at the school is only for my house is near, but during the process of studying it, I was gradually attracted by the western culture. And the teacher will push us to study, sometimes we have to remember near one hundred vocabulary. So I am also good at English.
I have much curiosity to a variety of knowledge. I like to learn new things in my leisure time. Although I’m major in language, I sometimes read the book about science or biology. The content in the books is not deep but the knowledge in it is very interesting and attractive. I think that I am a person with good temper. I am rarely unhappy and complain about others. And because of it, I can always be calm when I encountered most problems.

Autobiography- final

I want to pursue the career as a translator. To be a translator, I must have to sharpen my language ability. So, during the college life, I want to attain my goal step by step. And I think that your course and environment are perfect for me. It is not easy to be a translator, but I consider that if I can enter your college, I will have many opportunities to be well trained and make every effort to reach my goal step by step. I sincerely hope that I can be admitted to your university in order to realize my dream.

Future perspectives

My major was English, but I would like be admitted to the Japanese department of your university. I want to change my major, but I will still study it continuously. I hope that after I enter the department I can sharpen my Japanese and English ability. Although I took the Japanese course in senior high school, the course is fundamental. Via studying by myself, I made some progress, was able to talk with others and finally passed some exams. But I think that it is not enough, so I desire more opportunities to reinforce my ability. As for English, I hope that after entering the university, I can have time to schedule for studying English. Although my major was English in senior high school, I still can make some progress so that I can speak to people in English or Japanese fluently. And besides the progress of ability, I hope that I can be more extroverted, which caused me to be hard to make friends and not to make much progress on language because I am afraid of asking teachers or students to solve my question. I think that maybe I can reach my goal and fulfill my dream during the four years with the help from the professors and classmates.

self-evaluation

I am good at English. English was my major in senior high school. I learned it and practiced listening, speaking, reading and writing everyday. Sometimes we could also practice English conversation with our classmates. And there was a foreign teacher teaching us, it was interesting to hear him talking about their culture so that we could extend our view.
When I learned something I am interested in, I will be very enthusiastic, but I also never give up. I still keep them in an ordinary level. For example, I am interested in Japanese so I learn it everyday. However, I did not like math very much, but my math grades were not bad.
I think that I am a person processing things leisurely and calmly. I seldom fell into panic. One time, I lent my classmate my assignment, but he forgot to bring it to school tomorrow. I was actually angry, but I borrow the assignment from another classmate to copy instead   wasting time blaming him.

school life revise

I am a student of the Department of Applied Foreign Language, National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School. I am an introverted person. The first day I came to my class, we should make an introduction of ourselves. When it was my turn, I stood the stage, but I couldn’t say any word. But, now, for the practice and train from classmates and teachers, I can give a speech on the stage. I didn’t just learn knowledge in the three year.

In the three years, I joined in some activities and learned something from them, such as the sport meet, the essay contest and the so on. During the sport meet, we got many awards. On the one hand, there were many people good at sport in our class. On the other hand, our teacher led us well so that we can learn how to be united. Another event making me gain lots of things was the essay contest. At first, I was not reluctant to attend it because I was not good at writing articles, but when I knew that I couldn’t escape from it, I decided to practice writing a good essay. Thanks to our teacher’s help, I kept practicing it and finally made an abundant progress in writing articles. Although I couldn’t get a prize in the contest, but I realized that if we can be insistent, we can gain something.

I like to learn new things. When I was a senior high school student, I was major in English and I also learn Japanese afterschool. I learned many things about Japan. The teacher teaching me was Japanese. There would be some conversations during the lesson. And from his words, I learned Japanese lives, habits, culture and so on. Because I did not have Japanese test, so the lessons were not be pressured. So I learned Japanese easily and I can make a easy conversation with Japanese now. Another extracurricular activity was reading novels. The words a good novelist used could bring me a lot of prospect. Reading novels was like setting foot in another world. I could get rid of the busy daily life for a shot period.   Although there is nothing exciting, the leisurely times are really precious for me.

family backgroud revise

I'm Tom. There are four members in my family, my parents, my younger brother and I. My father was short-tempered when I was an elementary school student. When he got angry, my younger brother and I were afraid of him. So I learned that we shouldn’t blow our stack easily and do my best to control my temper. As a result, I am temperate now. On the other hand, my father was annoyed with his temper, too. So he tried to change it, which is difficult for him, but he was effortful. Consequently, he is a nice man now. Due to his change, I thought that we can change ourselves if we make the efforts to do it. My mother is a careful housewife. Doing everything carefully and checking after doing is her habit. And her habit has some impact on me, so I always do carefully in some aspects. And my younger brother is a junior high school student who is always filled with energy. If he is in the house, the atmosphere will be very animated. Owing to him, I won’t be bored. I am lucky to have such a family.

school life

I am a person who is shy and introverted by nature. When I just came to the class, I knew no one, and I afraid of talking to others. But, fortunately, my classmates was friendly, they talked to me continuously, so I can naturally talk to them eventually. Now, I even can stand on stage giving a speech.

Everyone got along with one another in my class. As a result, our class is very united. In addition to union, we are effortful. For example, when the interclass volleyball games approached, we would practice together, so we finally got the good grades in the games. Moreover, we got the award “class of honor” and continue for four semesters.

I am major in English. In the three years in high school, I learn how to write a essay, how to read articles and so on. Although most of my time is spent on English, I still have other habits. For example, after school I come to learn Japanese. I like Japanese, so I even join the Japanese conversation club.
