self evalution revised

My interest deeply rooted in Japanese culture began in my junior high school. Since then, I have read much articles, listened to some music and saw much movie. Apart from learn the things from textbook, sometimes I read magazines. Moreover, I will make good use of every chance to talk with Japanese to improve my speaking ability and to understand Japanese better.
Although I am deeply interested in Japanese, I studied English as my major in senior high school years. The original reason to learn English at the school is only for my house is near, but during the process of studying it, I was gradually attracted by the western culture. And the teacher will push us to study, sometimes we have to remember near one hundred vocabulary. So I am also good at English.
I have much curiosity to a variety of knowledge. I like to learn new things in my leisure time. Although I’m major in language, I sometimes read the book about science or biology. The content in the books is not deep but the knowledge in it is very interesting and attractive. I think that I am a person with good temper. I am rarely unhappy and complain about others. And because of it, I can always be calm when I encountered most problems.

Autobiography- final

I want to pursue the career as a translator. To be a translator, I must have to sharpen my language ability. So, during the college life, I want to attain my goal step by step. And I think that your course and environment are perfect for me. It is not easy to be a translator, but I consider that if I can enter your college, I will have many opportunities to be well trained and make every effort to reach my goal step by step. I sincerely hope that I can be admitted to your university in order to realize my dream.

Future perspectives

My major was English, but I would like be admitted to the Japanese department of your university. I want to change my major, but I will still study it continuously. I hope that after I enter the department I can sharpen my Japanese and English ability. Although I took the Japanese course in senior high school, the course is fundamental. Via studying by myself, I made some progress, was able to talk with others and finally passed some exams. But I think that it is not enough, so I desire more opportunities to reinforce my ability. As for English, I hope that after entering the university, I can have time to schedule for studying English. Although my major was English in senior high school, I still can make some progress so that I can speak to people in English or Japanese fluently. And besides the progress of ability, I hope that I can be more extroverted, which caused me to be hard to make friends and not to make much progress on language because I am afraid of asking teachers or students to solve my question. I think that maybe I can reach my goal and fulfill my dream during the four years with the help from the professors and classmates.

self-evaluation

I am good at English. English was my major in senior high school. I learned it and practiced listening, speaking, reading and writing everyday. Sometimes we could also practice English conversation with our classmates. And there was a foreign teacher teaching us, it was interesting to hear him talking about their culture so that we could extend our view.
When I learned something I am interested in, I will be very enthusiastic, but I also never give up. I still keep them in an ordinary level. For example, I am interested in Japanese so I learn it everyday. However, I did not like math very much, but my math grades were not bad.
I think that I am a person processing things leisurely and calmly. I seldom fell into panic. One time, I lent my classmate my assignment, but he forgot to bring it to school tomorrow. I was actually angry, but I borrow the assignment from another classmate to copy instead   wasting time blaming him.
